Amaravati, July 21 (Hydnow): The Andhra Pradesh state government has entered into an agreement with famous dairy brand Amul today.

The special Chief Secretary of the state government Poonam Malakondaiah and the Chennai Zonal head Amul signed on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in the presence of the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The Chief Minister spoke to the managing director of the company through video conference on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion he said that the agreement was a great milestone in transforming the lives of the women of the state. He said that the state government had already extended ₹11000 crore to the women under its asara YSR cheyutha scheme. He said that good days had come for the cooperative dairies of the state.
