Hyderabad, Aug.21 (Hydnow): Congress party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Wednesday said that he was happy to note that the chief minister K. He asked the Chief Minister as to how much share he has in mission Bhageeratha scheme and asked if he was sacking the officials of the Mission Bhageeratha scheme to hide his mistakes.

Noting that any project costing more than Rs.100 crore should be finalised by inviting global tenders, he asked the CM if he did not encourage corruption by handing over more than Rs.4000 crore worth works on nomination basis without inviting any kind of tender in the state.

Commenting on rival BJP leaders, he said that it was good that the BJP leaders also began to talk about the corruption of ruling TRS party and added that he was supporting the criticism of the TRS party by BJP national working president JP Nadda. He advised the BJP leaders to fight against the state governments through their actions but not through words. Noting that the Chief Minister himself has agreed that the governance has been sidetracked in the state while alleging that the Chief Minister also acknowledged the existence of corruption in the system during the collector’s conference.

He wondered as to where was the efficient governance in the state even after the creation of new districts. He asked the Chief Minister to reveal the details of the department where there is no corruption. Commenting on kaleswaram lift irrigation project, Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister had not sent the DPR of the project to the union government as he was scared of being exposed vis a vis the corruption that took place in the construction of the project. He said that the state would have got Rs.60,000 crore from the center if the DPR of the kaleswaram was submitted to it.(Hydnow)
