Jagan Case: HC Directs CBI To File Counter

Justice G Sridevi of TS High Court said Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court to file its counter in case pertaining to AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It may be recalled that the AP Chief Minister filed a petition seeking permanent exemption from making an appearance before the Special Judge CBI Court in Hyderabad. The CBI court had asked him to apply for an exemption on a week-by-week basis. Jagan filed the present petition in the court seeking to be represented a Special Vakalath holder. The judge, granting time to the authorities to respond, adjourned the matter.
