Jana Sena Party (JSP) supremo Pawan Kalyan expressed deep concern over the news that the TRS government is contemplating to dismiss the striking RTC employees in Telangana.

In a statement here on Monday, Pawan said that it was not proper on the part of the Telangana government to remove all the RTC employees except 1,200 out of 48,660 personnel. He said that the government should strive to understand the problems of the striking employees and try to resolve their demands. “It should not take such tough decisions,” he added. He recalled that the RTC employees participated in the general strike for several weeks and supported the agitation for the formation of Telangana.

The JSP chief urged the Telangana government and the RTC unions to maintain restraint and resolve the issue amicably to prevent hardship to the common people. He appealed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to resolve the issue in a peaceful manner.
