Ujjaini Mahankali Jathara Without Public: Minister

Hyderabad, July 11 (Hydnow): Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said that for first time Ujjaini Mahankali Jathara in Secunderabad to be conducted without people due to Corona cases. He expressed concern that he never expected Corona like situation in his life time.

Srinivas Yadav has made a visit to the temple here and instructed officials to conduct the festivities without public. As the Corona cases spreading across the world Hyderabad is facing problem, he said. Keeping this problem in view the people should stay away from the temple the minister appealed.

Though Chief Minister, K Chandra sekhar Rao has accorded state festival status to Bonalu we are not able to conduct it on a grand scale, the minister said. We have to conduct Mahankali Bonalu without public participation the minister said.

Srinivas Yadav said that the people have to stay home and not come to temple. Officials were instructed to conduct Bonalu in the temple premises itself, he added. (Hydnow)
