Police Capture 4 person For Ganja Peddling In The City
Khammam, November, 24: A team of Khammam Excise Enforcement wing has nabbed a ganja smuggler at Bhadrachalam in Kothagudem district on Wednesday.
Acting upon the directions of Excise Deputy Commissioner G Anjan Rao, the team carried out inspections at Ambedkar Centre, Nellipaka road, bus stand area, Gollagatta road and Degree College area in Bhadrachalam town.
During inspections, the team found a man carrying 10.5 kg of dry marijuana worth Rs 1 lakh in a bag. The accused was identified as Vikrant Thakur of Madhya Pradesh. He was arrested and a case registered against him, informed Excise Enforcement CI, Y Surveshwar.
