Hyderabad, June 15 (Hydnow): City based MP-MLA court has quashed 380 out of 395 criminal cases filed against the public representatives of the State.
The court said police had failed to show proper evidence in the quashed cases. In the remaining 14 criminal cases, the court imposed conviction in four cases and fine in 10 cases. Those who got conviction applied for stay orders from the High Court.
City-based NGO Forum for Good Governance said the performance of the State police was reflecting in the quashing of the cases against the public representatives.
It said the police did not prefer an appeal in the High Court against the quashed cases.
It said the common people in the State had a different law and the rich has a different law. (Hydnow)
