Gajwel/Hyderabad, Aug 18 (Hydnow): YSRTP President Y.S Sharmila was placed under house arrest by police as she wanted to go for a tour in the Gajwel constituency of Siddipet district.  The villagers of Tegl, Jagadevpur Mandal in Gajwel recently raised concerns about the irregularities in the Dalit Bandhu.  Police put Sharmila under house arrest saying that she did not have permission to visit there to support them.

Police were deployed at her residence Lotuspond.  When Sharmila got into an argument with the police saying that she would go and kill Gajwel, the police decided that it was not allowed.

Sharmila innovatively protested against police house arrest. Gajwel was given to the police who stopped her from going on the tour.  Do your duty properly, sir, she commented. Sharmila questioned why the BRS leaders who were protesting in Gajwel were not arrested.  “The police should stop working like CM KCR’s henchmen.  They are arresting us leaving those who disturb the law and order.  What is permission required for? We entered politics to serve the people. Need permission to meet people? sharmila said that KCR is afraid of me.

Sharmila went on a protest at her residence in Lotuspond to protest against the blocking of Gajwel’s visit. She said that she will continue her protest till evening. (Hydnow)
