Hyderabad, Aug 18 (Hydnow): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) will accept applications from candidates who want to contest on behalf of Congress in the coming Assembly elections.  

As part of this, TPCC President Revanth Reddy and CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka released the application form today. Speaking on this occasion, Revanth said that Rs. 25,000 has been fixed for the SC and ST applicants and Rs. 50,000 for BC and OC applicants has been finalized.  The application fee is non-refundable.  The application fee will be used for party activities.  

Applications will be scrutinized after August 25.  surveys will be conducted on each applicant’s strengths and weaknesses.  He said that the social equations and strengths of the candidates will be assessed and a report will be given to the screening committee.  Finally, the Central Election Committee will finalize the candidates. He said.  He also said that the media reports that the candidates have been finalized are untrue.  (Hydnow)
