Hyderabad, Oct 25 (Hydnow): A Central team has conducted an inquiry into the construction quality of the Medigadda barrage. Officials of the National Dam Safety Authority have entered the field to inspect the works at the field level.
Officials of the National Dam Safety Authority have entered the field to inspect the works at the field level. A team of Central officials has been touring the state for the past two days. National Dam Safety officials inspected the sagging pillars in Medigadda.
In a few days, the officials of the National Dam Safety Authority will hold a key meeting with the officials of the State Irrigation Department at Hyderabad Jala Soudha. The meeting will be chaired by National Dam Safety Authority Chairman Anil Jain. He will meet the state irrigation officials at Jalasaudha. A discussion will be held with state irrigation officials and Kaleswaram project officials. The Central team will inquire about the technical details. After the meeting, the Central team will submit its report to the center. (Hydnow)
