Hyderabad, Nov 25 (Hydnow): As elections are approaching in Telangana, IT officials are conducting successive raids in the state.
The IT department, which is constantly searching some areas, has recently conducted raids targeting big traders in the old town of the city. Along with the owners of Kings Palace, IT officials are conducting inspections at the homes of Kohinoor Group MD Majid Khan.
Apart from Shahnawaz’s house, many houses are also being searched. It is known that the IT officials are carrying out these raids after receiving information that those who are organizing functions in hotels in the name of Kohinoor and King’s groups are providing huge amounts of cash to a political party.
In the month of May, this year as well, inspections were conducted in all the offices of the Kohinoor Group located in the old city and its surrounding 30 areas. (Hydnow)
