Hyderabad, Jan 24 (Hydnow): BJP National General Secretary and Karimnagar MP, Bandi Sanjay has written an open letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy asking him to release the order to release the pending bills of the Sarpanchs immediately.  

He said that it is unfortunate that even though it has been 50 days since the Congress government came to power in the state, they have not focused on the pending bills of the Sarpanchs.  Revanth Reddy who had promised to pay the pending bills of Sarpanchs in the Assembly elections, as soon as he came to power.  Bandi Sanjay urged the state government to immediately arrange a meeting with the representatives of the Sarpanches association. 

Bandi Sanjay accused the previous BRS government of diverting the funds allotted to the villages by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government at the Centre.  He said that during the previous BRS government, serpents committed suicide  in the state due to pending bills like no other state in the country.  


He expressed anger that the government officials are bothering the sarpanches by not recording the works done for the development of the village.  the government should issue an order to immediately record the works done by the Sarpanches for the development of the village.  As promised in the congress party’s election manifesto, they wanted to increase the honorarium of public representatives of local bodies including sarpanches.  In the letter, Bandi Sanjay stated that pensions should be granted to former sarpanches and representatives of other local bodies.  (Hydnow)
