Hyderabad, April 16 (Hydnow): BJP has finalized its candidate for the bye-election to the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly seat. The party released a statement selecting Vamsha Tilak.

It may be recalled that MLA Lasya Nandita who had won from BRS in the 2023 Assembly election died in a road accident and bye-election was inevitable in this seat.

The Assembly election polling will be held in the Cantonment constituency along with the Lok Sabha elections on May 13. Congress and BRS have already announced their candidates for this post.

Lasya Niveditha, sister of late Lasya Nandita has been given the ticket from BRS and the Congress party announced Narayana Saiganesh as its candidate. (Hydnow)
