Internet/Hyderabad, April 8 (Maxim News): It seems that the Indian oil ship that was diverted to China is now returning to India. It is noteworthy that it is also an oil ship coming from Iran. There are chances that India’s oil troubles will end soon. Oil from Iran will come to India. India will import oil from Iran after seven years. The ship named Jaya, which is carrying Iranian crude oil, is coming to the east coast of India. This has been confirmed by the London Stock Exchange Group and Kepler companies.
These companies track commercial ships at sea. This ship, which left Iran a few days ago, was supposed to arrive in India last week. But, it diverted and headed towards China. There is no further information about this ship. But now, the ship’s trafficking data has revealed that this ship is returning to India. The oil in this ship was purchased by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). It is understood that another ship named Jordan is also coming to India along with this ship. This is the first time in seven years that oil is coming from Iran. In the past, India used to buy oil from Iran in large quantities. But in the wake of US sanctions, India stopped buying oil. India last bought oil from Iran in May 2019.
However, now the US has lifted the sanctions imposed on Iran in the wake of the war. That also provided relief for months. In this context, India is buying oil from Iran. It is known that due to the Iran war, the Strait of Hormuz was closed. Due to this, oil ships were stranded at sea. However, now the Strait of Hormuz will open in the wake of the peace agreement between the US and Iran. If this happens, more oil will be available. (Maxim News)
