Hyderabad, April 9: Fox Sagar Lake water hyacinth removal in 10 days was ordered by civic authorities during an inspection. The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation directed immediate action to clear the lake.
Commissioner G Srijana visited the Fox Sagar Lake on Thursday. She instructed officials to complete the cleaning within ten days. She asked teams to ensure the lake remains free of water hyacinth.
Meanwhile, the commissioner inspected areas in Kompally Circle. She directed shopkeepers to maintain dustbins within their premises. Therefore, officials aim to improve sanitation compliance.
She also reviewed waterlogging issues in Jayabheri Colony. Engineers were asked to submit proposals to resolve the problem. Additionally, officials inspected nearby parks and open spaces.
They were instructed to prepare plans for basic amenities based on local needs. The directions aim to improve civic infrastructure and public hygiene across the area.
