Hyderabad, April 10 (Hydnow): Mehdipatnam Police Station successfully solved a murder case reported in Tolichowki and arrested the accused involved in the incident.

The accused, identified as Mofil (22), was working as a chaat master at a juice centre in Yousuf Tekri. Both the accused and the deceased, Gularez Alam, were natives of Bihar and were employed at the same establishment in Tolichowki.

According to police, a minor dispute between the two escalated into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, the accused allegedly attacked Gularez Alam with a steel ladle, striking him multiple times on the head and causing severe injuries.


The victim collapsed at the scene and was shifted by the owner and co-workers to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police apprehended the accused and are producing him before the court. Officials confirmed that further legal proceedings are underway.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Golconda Zone, appreciated the prompt action of the police team for quickly solving the case and announced rewards for the staff involved. (Hydnow)
