YS Jagan to Hold High-Level Meeting in Vijayawada on October 9
New Delhi: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence here on Sunday and held discussions for over 40 minutes on State-related issues.
He urged for endorsing the revised estimates of the Polavaram project and ensuring Union cabinet approval.
The unresolved issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during bifurcation should be expedited, he urged the Union Home Minister.

He also discussed the issues of the division of assets as per Schedules 9 and 10 including AP Bhavan.
The electricity dues receivable from Telangana Government were also mentioned and he urged that steps should be taken clearance of dues.
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
