Hyderabad, April 11: Bandi Sanjay criticises Congress rule citing Phule ideals while paying tribute on his bicentenary. The Union Minister said governance should reflect Jyotirao Phule’s vision.
He described Phule as a reformer who fought oppression and supported weaker sections. He also highlighted Phule’s efforts in promoting education and social equality. Therefore, he called his work a guiding force even today.
Bandi Sanjay said Phule worked for women’s education and social reform. He noted Phule’s role in opposing caste discrimination and child marriage. Moreover, he praised his efforts to support the poor and spread awareness.
He also said the current Congress government is not following Phule’s ideals. He criticised the education sector performance in Telangana. In addition, he raised concerns over fee reimbursement delays and healthcare issues.
He urged the state government to act on Phule’s vision. He said policies should reflect real change rather than statements.
