Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 9 (Hydnow): Former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao has been awarded Bharat Ratna by the Central government.  

To this extent, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed in his X platform.  PV Narasimha Rao is the first Telugu person who was awarded Bharat Ratna.

The Center announced the Bharat Ratna Awards to PV Narasimha Rao and two others, today, it includes former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh and Agronomist MS Swaminathan. 

Bharat Ratna awards have been announced for five people this time.  This is the first time that five Bharat Ratna awards have been given in one year.

PV Narasimha Rao’s full name is Pamulaparthi Venkata Narasimha Rao, he was the first Telugu person to become the Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996. 

PV Narasimha Rao was born on June 28, 1921, and died in politics. 

Recognized as a great visionary.  PV Narasimha Rao, who took over as Prime Minister at a time when India was in an economic crisis, changed the economic and business landscape of India. 

PV Narasimha Rao was the great man who took India towards simple globalization. 

PV Narasimha Rao was a genius who expanded trade and business in other countries and turned India’s economy towards globalization  (Hydnow)
