Minister KTR Lashes Out at BJP Govt

Centre Should Give National Status To Palamur-RR Project: KTR

Hyderabad, Feb.4 (Hydnow): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today criticized the Centre for failing to give National status to Palamur Ranga Reddy lift project in Telangana. He inaugurated a double bedroom housing facility at Kodgal village in Jadcherla segment with the minister Srinivas Goud, MLA Lakshma Reddy and others.

On the occasion, KT Rama Rao demanded that the BJP Government should avoid partisan attitude and give national status to Palamur-RR project. The centre gave national status to projects in AP, Karnataka, funds and projects to other states and denying the same to Telangana, he expressed concern.

He said that the BJP Government has been denying any support to irrigation projects. With multiple schemes KCR Government is developing the villages like never before, he claimed. We have been appealing to the Modi Government to give us more funds, projects and institutions and no avail.

He also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi coming to Muchintal should get a dream to see Samatha Murthy to see all the states equally. The TRS Government has built the Kaleshwaram project, addressing decades-long fluorosis problems in Nalgonda district, the minister claimed.

Successive governments failed to give us projects and no steps were taken to address fluorosis and migration problems. Mahabub Nagar is seeing a reverse migration with more facilities through new schemes in villages. Villages and municipalities are getting more funds regularly for facelift with more facilities. Chhatriwali Movie Review: Rakul Preet Singh’s film is informative but lags in bits

I could never wrap my head around Bollywood’s obsession with continuously addressing condom as a chhatri or an umbrella. Not only it’s cringe to hear repeatedly but also, it somewhere defeats the whole purpose with which films around these subjects are made. Moreover, picking a taboo subject and making a film on it can turn out to be quite risky if you don’t stick to the agenda and beat around the bush. Thankfully, Rakul Preet Singh’s Chhatriwali, directed by Tejas Prabhaa Vijay Deoskar, doesn’t digress much, and follows a crisp screenplay. There are some flaws here and there, but with all the humour and lighter moments, they can be somewhat overlooked.
