Hyderabad, April 12: China denies arms supply to Iran amid US claims during the ongoing West Asia conflict. It rejected allegations that it is providing weapons to Tehran.

Chinese officials said US intelligence reports are misleading. Moreover, they stated that China is not selling weapons to any country.

China also said it supports peace talks as a responsible nation. However, reports suggest possible plans to supply air defence systems to Iran.


China denies arms supply to Iran amid US claims despite reports of advanced systems. Therefore, concerns have risen over possible escalation in the conflict.

International media reports said China may supply air defence systems soon. These systems could help counter low altitude missile threats.

Reports also mentioned MANPADS as a possible supply. Soldiers can use these shoulder fired systems to target incoming missiles.


However, China has strongly denied all such reports. Meanwhile, it reiterated its stand on supporting diplomatic solutions.
