Class 8th Student Commits Suicide One Day Before Exam
Vitla: A 14-year-old boy here committed suicide by hanging himself when his family members had gone out to attend a function on Sunday.
The deceased boy, identified as Hemanth, was the son of Manila Ravindra Gowda of Punacha village. He was a Class 8 student at the Shri Devi Vidya Kendra of Devinagar, Manila.
His family members were attending the event at the Punacha Mahishamardini Temple for Ayyappa Vratadharis to wear ‘irumudi‘, when Hemanth committed suicide.
When asked if he would accompany them for the event, Hemanth is learned to have told his family members that he would be preparing for the exam he had on Monday.
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
