"Click N Book Service" Launched In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (Hydnow): The Postal Department has launched an online service called ‘Click N Book that allows customers to book Speed Post (Documents and Parcels), Registered letters, and Parcels online. Pickup of the booked consignments from the doorstep of the customers will be completed by Postman. Currently the service is available in 107 Pincodes in Hyderabad City Area.

Customers will need to register on the India Post website (https://www.indiapost.gov.in/vas/Pages/IndiaPostHome.aspx) to avail of the service. Pickup facility will be provided for bookings up to 5 kg. The department aims to make its services more customer-friendly and technologically advanced.

Using this service, customers can book Speed Post (Documents and Parcels), Registered letters and Parcels sitting right at home. By adopting innovation and the latest technology, the postal department is continuously making its services hi-tech and customer-friendly. Now customers need not go to the Post Office physically to book Speed Post (Documents and Parcels), Registered letters, and Parcels weighing up to 5 kg.

A flat Pickup charge of Rs. 50/- will be charged if the total tariff is less than Rs.500/-. A maximum of five articles can be booked on each transaction. A free pick-up facility will be available if the tariff is more than Rs. 500/- on each transaction.

Pick-up slot available for the “Same day/Next working day” excluding Sunday/Local and Gazetted holidays. Customers can select the time slot (10 AM to 1 PM and 1 PM to 4 PM) for pick up.

Customers are requested to ensure that no prohibited items (as available at (https://www.indiapost.gov.in/MBE/Pages/Content/Prohibited-Articles.aspx) are booked. (Hydnow
