CM KCR To Address BRS Meeting On Nov 25 In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, August 13: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Saturday held a meeting with TRS leader Kancharla Krishna Reddy and his brother and Nalgonda TRS MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy at Pragathi Bhavan here and discussed regarding Munugodu by-election.
KCR reportedly told them to make grand success of public meeting in Munugodu on August 20. “If required, I will announce the name of the TRS candidate for the Munugodu by-election in the public meeting itself,” he informed Kacharla brothers. However, he did not give any assurance to Krishna Reddy about seat allocation to him.
The CM is gathering information from various sources especially from influence leaders of Munugodu segment for finalising the candidate. In the wake of reports, a section of the TRS leaders from Munugodu are opposing Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, KCR is very cautious in picking up by-poll nominee. The BJP is fielding sitting MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and the Congress yet to declare its candidate.
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
