Hyderabad, Jan.21 (Hydnow): Congress Party Leader Ramulu Naik today came down heavily on the TRS led state government and alleged that the ruling party was trying to picket the votes of the tribals of the state by blaming the central government for the problems faced by it.
He made it clear that the ruling party did not have any moral Right to talk about the tribals .
He said that tribals stood by CM KCR during separate Telangana state agitation. He said that the CM, who promised to implement 12 percent reservations to the tribals as soon as he became the CM, failed to do so even after seven years of coming into power. He asked the CM as to why he was not able to implement his promised quota of the reservations for the tribals .
Targeting state Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavati Rathod , he said that the Minister was not aware of anything. He asked the minister as to why she was not making the report of Chennappa committee public.
He asked the CM as to why he did not inaugurate the Banjara Bhavan so far? He demanded the state government to declare Sevalal birth anniversary as a state holiday. (Hydnow)
