Hyderabad, July 29 (Hydnow): Congress has decided to hold Eid -e-Milap celebrations in the city on July 31 of this month. The celebrations are being held by the minority cell of the party .
In a statement, the chairman of the city minority wing Sameer Waliullah said that they could not hold the Dawat-e-iftar and eid-e-milap functions for the last two years due of the spread of Covid pandemic . He said that they were now holding the celebrations due to the relaxation in Covid rules. The newly appointed TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy would take part in the celebrations .
He said that they would felicitate the TPCC president and other office bearers on the occasion. The AICC state incharge Manickam Tagore would also attend the event as the chief guest. He urged the party leaders and workers to attend the event by wearing face masks. (Hydnow)
