Covid-19: India Records 7,533 New Cases, 44 Deaths
Delhi/Hyderabad, April 11 (Hydnow): India records 5,676 New coronavirus cases along with 21 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
204 corona cases have decreased compared to April 10 Monday. Adding the fresh cases, the number of active cases in the country has increased to 37.093.
Another 21 people succumbed to the virus. With this, the death toll has reached 5,31,000. According to the Ministry’s website, 220.66 crore people have been given Covid vaccines in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. (Hydnow)
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
Thirty-two airports across northern and western parts of the country, including Srinagar and Amritsar, have been closed for civilian flight operations till May 15, according to the civil aviation regulator.
