Corruption is The Main Enemy of Development in India: PM Modi

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 3 (Hydnow): Prime Minister Narendra Modi commented that corruption is the main enemy of National Development.

Prime Minister Modi who participated in the CBI Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Delhi said that the scope of the CBI has increased. He clarified that CBI offices are being set up in many cities. He said that CBI has increased the hope and strength of common people. He reminded us that CBI has become a brand, and that’s why people are protesting against the investigation of CBI for justice in many cases today.

PM Modi said India cannot move forward without professional and effective institutions like CBI. From bank frauds to wildlife frauds, CBI’s scope of work has increased manifold, he said. Prime Minister Modi clarified that CBI’s main responsibility is to make the country corruption free.

Prime Minister Modi said that corruption is not a common crime. It is alleged that some consider corruption as a legacy. In 2014, they declared war on corruption. Modi said that corruption from the previous government has become a challenge for them. (Hydnow)
