Counting Slips Of 5 VVPATs In Each Assembly Segment: Ronald Rose
Hyderabad, June 1 (Hydnow): GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose said that the training of the counting staff was completed on May 26. He inspected the vote-counting centers in Nizam College.
Speaking to the press persons, Ronald Rose said that there will be an observer for each assembly constituency. He explained that special arrangements are being made for media representatives in each counting center.
“Counting of votes will take place in 16 halls in 13 areas of Hyderabad. There will be counting of postal ballot votes at 3 places. We have arranged 14 tables in each counting hall. Jubileehills has a maximum of 20 tables. YHakutpura will have a maximum of 24 rounds of counting.
Counting of votes in the Charminar constituency will be done in 15 rounds and Cantonment by-elections in 17 rounds. Each round takes 30 minutes. We will count the slips of 5 VV pats in each assembly segment, said Ronald Rose. (Hydnow)
