Hyderabad, June 23: Communication skills are extremely important in the development of human personality, and effective use of language transmission, is key to successful presentation.
These views were expressed by Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University yesterday while addressing the One-Day National Seminar-cum-Workshop “The Art of Presentation” organized by the School of Education. Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar was the guest of honor.
Professor Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Dean, School of Education and Training & OSD II delivered the keynote address. He said that by nature every human being has the ability to communicate. Only systematic efforts are needed to recognize and develop this potential.
Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed I Patel, Provost, Boys Hostel guided the participants on how to prepare and use effectively the PowerPoint presentations.
The guest speaker, Mrs. Smita Rane explained about non-verbal communication through activities. Mrs. Smita Rane and Dr. Tayyaba Nazli were the Seminar experts.
Dr. Parveen Kumar, Shabnam Parveen, Md. Saud, Uzma Parveen, and Akif Haider demonstrated their speaking skills on various academic topics.
Later, Prof Syed Ainul Hasan, Prof. Ishtiaq Ahmed, Prof. Abdul Sami Siddiqui, and other guests distributed certificates.
Dr. Parvini Pindagale thanked Dr. Mohsina Anjum Ansari for anchoring the program and Dr. Mohsina Bano for sponsoring the program.
Dr. Tayyaba Nazli, Dr. Akhtar Parveen, Dr. Jarrar Ahmed, Mr., Mohammad Gufran Barkati, Dr. Parvini Pandagale, and Dr. Mohasina Anjum A. Ansari were the members of the Organising committee.
