Hyderabad, June 17 (Hydnow): Senior Congress leader V Hanumanth Rao said that Recruitment of Army personnel under Agnipath scheme with four year service was atrocious.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Hanumanth Rao asked what will be the future of Army personnel after four years.
He reminded that earlier the service of Army personnel was between 15 to 20 years with all facilities. He alleged that the Centre has changed the rule on recruitment of Army personnel in order to avoid pension facility.
“Is this the honour proposed to be given to the new Army personnel, who prepared to lay down their lives for the country by the BJP government at the Centre?, he asked. (Hydnow)
