Governor Accepts Resignation Of TSPSC Chairman And Members: Line Clear For Appointment

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Hydnow): A key development has taken place in Telangana. Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan approved the resignation of the TSPSC Chairman and members. With this, the line has been cleared for the appointment of a new chairman and members of TSPSC.

According to details, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan accepted the resignation of TSPSC Chairman B. Janardhan Reddy and five members today.  Janardhan Reddy resigned in December last year.  Meanwhile, congress MLC Jeevan Reddy demanded that the resignations of the TSPSC Chairman and members be accepted immediately.  He wrote a letter to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to that effect.

A month has passed since the resignations of the TSPSC Chairman and members, but the governor has not accepted them so far,  In the letter, it has been mentioned that due to the absence of the TSPSC Chairman, we are not able to take any decision on filling up the posts.  In this context, the Governor approved the resignations of the TSPSC chairman and members on Wednesday.

It may be recalled that the credibility of the TSPSC has deteriorated due to the leakage of question papers for almost all the Groups, including Group 1.  The police cases, several employees being jailed, the cancellation of the already conducted exams, etc. have completely degraded the commission level.  In this background, the unemployed were pressured to change the Chairman and the members.  Gradually the situation calmed down a bit and with the announcement of the dates for re-conducting the exams, the unemployed youths focused on the preparation.  Janardhan Reddy resigned after the Congress government’s formation after the Telangana elections. Later members also resigned, However, the Governor has accepted their resignation, today.  (Hydnow)
