Governor Tamilisai, Union Minister Participated In Yoga Utsav
Hyderabad, May 27 (Hydnow): Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy today took part in a Yoga Mahotsav at LB stadium here today.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said yoga would keep people fit both physically and psychologically. She also said yoga would keep the people young and there are many benefits of yoga like it keeps BP at bay. She said International Yoga Day was being observed in over 190 countries and added that some Muslim countries too observing it.

Union minister for tourism and culture Kishan Reddy said the credit behind popularising yoga across the world goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said they had been holding the Yoga Day almost 100 days before the International Yoga Day, which is celebrated on June 21 every year, as part of Azadi-ka-Aamruthmahotav celebrations.
He also said they were holding the Yoga Utsav in over 75 countries, including the US and Australia. He said they would hold the International Yoga Day on a grand scale at tank bund on June 21. (Hydnow)
