Hyderabad, Oct. 6 (Hydnow): The State government on Thursday decided to supply the free distribution of 10 kgs rice to every beneficiary of 90.01 lakh card holders across the State with immediate effect.
According to a release here on Thursday, Minister for Civil Supplies Gangula Kamalakar said that there are a total of 90.01 lakh card holders, of which 283.42 lakh people are beneficiaries in Telangana.
Following Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to supply 10 kgs of free rice to every beneficiary of the card holders, the civil supplies department directed the officials concerned to extend the facility with immediate effect and the facility would be continued till December. (Hydnow)
