Govt Will Protect Interests of Poor: KTR

Hyderabad, Feb.2 (Hydnow): Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today said the State government will protect the interests of the poor in the State.

“Soon we will give pattas to the poor who have occupied lands at Jawaharnagar, Pirjadiguda and Boduppal Municipal Corporation limits in Medchal-Malkajgiri district”, he said while participating in development programs along with the minister Malla Reddy and others.

Speaking on the occasion, KT Rama Rao has claimed that the TRS government was implementing the schemes for the poor, women and people. “We will come again here to give you the pattas”, he said.

The Minister maintained that the issue of regularizing the houses will be taken to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He inaugurated a Vaikuntadhamam and attended some development programs. Roads, canals will be constructed by spending adequate funds and provide more amenities to the people in the locality, he said.

Stating that the State government has been implementing several schemes for the women, poor and farmers, he said Rythu Bandhu gives Rs 10,000 per acre, rythu bhima offers Rs 5 lakh insurance to the farmers’ kin after death.

He said the TRS government was offering 24-hour free power to farming sector to boost agriculture activities and avoid burden of the bills and loan related issues.

“For this, we are implementing Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak and giving Rs 1.16 lakh to each such family”, KT Rama Rao claimed. KCR Kits is a big hit in the state as most of the people are coming to the government hospitals for deliveries. They are getting benefits of Rs 12,000 and Rs 13,000 on delivery of a baby boy and girl respectively, he added.

KTR also said the officials are being directed to complete the canal works to connect them to the Musi river by next rainy season and check inundation problems.
