Heavy Rains Today And Tomorrow In Telangana And Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad, May 18 (Hydnow): The Meteorological Department has revealed that there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh till May 23. Due to this, the weather department has warned people to be cautious.
On the 22nd of this month, there are indications of the formation of low pressure over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. The low pressure will likely strengthen and become a cyclone on May 24.
An upper trough covered Sri Lanka through Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema, 3.1 km above sea level. The above-ground trough continues, and its range has extended upto the northern parts of Tamil Nadu.
There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana till the 23rd of this month. Southwest Monsoon is active in the South Andaman Sea.
