Heavy Rains Today And Tomorrow In Telangana And Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, May 12 (Hydnow) The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh today and tomorrow.

In Telangana, Adilabad, Nizamabad, karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts will receive heavy rains. An orange alert has been issued in this district. Also, heavy rains with thunder and lightning will occur in some areas. In AP, the Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Tirupati, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Guntur districts.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that the monsoon will arrive on May 27. Usually, the monsoon enters Kerala by June 1. After that, rains start falling across the country. By July 8, this monsoon will spread across the country. The withdrawal of the monsoon will start from Northwest India again on September 17. It will end by October 15.

However, this time the southwest monsoon is likely to hit Kerala on May 27, earlier than June 1, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said. In 2024, the southwest monsoon arrived on May 30. In 2023, it arrived on June 8 and in 2022, on May 29. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department said that there is a chance of more than normal rainfall during the monsoon this time.
