Ganja Worth Rs. 1.19 Crore Seized, Five People Arrested
Karimnagar/Hyderabad, June 1 (Hydnow): A huge quantity of ganja was seized in Karimnagar district, Police seized 100 kg of illegal marijuana, today June 1.
The Karimnagar one-town police conducted inspections near the cable bridge in the suburbs of the city. Police questioned three people who were traveling in a car suspiciously in the incident. As their answer was not clear. They got suspicious and checked the car. They found marijuana being smuggled under the back seat of the car.
Around 100 kg of dry ganja was seized in 35 packets. Later, three accused were arrested. The police found that this ganja was being transported from Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam to Maharashtra. The police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating. (Hydnow)
