Hyderabad Likely to Receive Rains For Next 2 Days

Heavy Rains in Hyderabad Create Havoc

Hyderabad: Hyderabad is likely to receive light rains for the next three days, and one or two spells of thundershowers on Thursday.

According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), most parts of the city are likely to receive up to 2.5 mm rainfall on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Some parts of the city might receive up to 15.6 mm rainfall on Thursday, as a result India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad has issued a yellow alert.

The city will continue to witness a generally cloudy sky, with wind speed of six to eight kilometer per hour.

The minimum temperature is expected to be around 18 degree Celsius, whereas the maximum temperature will be around 29 degree Celsius.

The night temperatures in a few parts of the city, including Jubilee Hills, Begumpet, Charminar, Khairatabad and Falaknuma might also dip down by two to three degrees in the next couple of days.

Meanwhile, some parts of the state such as Yadadri Bhongir, Rajanna Sircilla and Jagtial, receive very light drizzle on Sunday.

As per the forecast by IMD-H, several districts of Telangana are likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall.

Many areas, including Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Warangal, Peddapalli and Jangaon, might receive rainfall upto 15.6 mm by January 12.
