Hyderabad, Oct.9 (Hydnow): The sleuths Income tax department have seized ₹142 crore cash belonging to Hetero Drugs Pharma Company. The IT has been conducting raids on the offices of the company since the last four days.
The raids have been conducted at 50 different places from six states of the country. The company has exported massive quantity of medicines to various foreign countries like America , European countries, Dubai and African countries.
The officials of the department have seized hard discs , pen drives and other electronic devises . They have found that the company had destroyed some evidences .
They also found that the management of the company had prepared fake invoices . The department has also found that the management of the company had acquired huge number of lands by using the money its money.
The officials found a total of 16 bank lockers and seized ₹142 crore cash. They are yet to finish their inquiry related to another ₹550 crore. (Hydnow)
