Making All Arrangements For 'Milad-Un-Nabi" Rally On Oct 1: C.V Anand

Hyderabad, Sept 29 (Hydnow): Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad C.V Anand thanked the police personnel and the people of the city who worked in Hyderabad for the peaceful end of Ganesh Immersion and added that the Muslim religious leaders have postponed the “Milad-Un-Nabi” rally for which the police will make all the arrangements for the rally on October 1.

The Ganesh immersion ceremony was peaceful.  The Maha Khairatabad Ganesh was immersed like never before. Even today a large number of idols are seen for immersion.  There are statues on Necklace Road, People’s Plaza. 450 idols remained for immersion.  According to the Jio Talking calculations, 10,020 idols were immersed yesterday and today.  The rest of the five-foot idols are being immersed today.

Today we have made alternative arrangements so that normal traffic is not disturbed in the Hussainsagar and Prasad i Max areas.  It will take another 5 hours to immerse the rest of the idols.  Some mandapa managers, who were appealed by the police officers, brought the idols late.  Mandapa management seems to be negligent in immersion, don’t trouble people.

More than 250 cases have been registered by the SHE team as part of the immersion program during the Ganesh festival.

CV Anand stated that the police did a coordinated duty so that the public did not face any trouble because of the nuisance in many places.  (Hydnow)
