Medigadda Barrage Collapse: Maoists Release Letter Against CM KCR

BJP Leaders Visited Collapsed Medigadda Barrage

Warangal/Hyderabad, Oct 27 (Hydnow): Maoists have released a letter on the Kaleshwaram project in the name of Venkatesh, Secretary of the Moist JMWP division Committee, He said that the reason why the pillars of Medigadda Lakshmi Barrage interstate bridge sagged by 30 meters was due to poor quality of construction because of the huge commission taken by the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and his family, and added that KCR and his family has to take the full responsibility for the collapse.

He said that it has been only three years since the construction of the Medigadda Barrage spending thousands of crores.  It was started on May 2, 2016, and commenced operation on June 21, 2019.  The letter said that the reason for the collapse of this barrage was KCR’s family.

He said that the reason why the pillars of Medigadda sank, was by taking large amounts of commissions and building poorly.  Cracks were formed while it was being built, but this matter was not known to the outside world.  He said that people, public associations, and political parties were prevented from coming to the project.  He said that the police force had arrested them in advance and prevented them from holding dharnas and rallies.  He said that the matter was suppressed so that it did not come out.  The media was also threatened and controlled.  The Maoists stated in the letter that KCR is fully responsible for wasting public money.  (Hydnow)
