Peace And Stability Will be There in the World if India And China Ties Strengthened: Beijing

Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 25 (Hydnow): In the context of the BRICS conference, consultations were held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President XI Jinping on bilateral issues including the border dispute (India-China relations), Beijing has revealed in an official state. On this occasion, Xi Jinping said that if India-China relations improve, the common interests of both the countries and the people will be fulfilled.

Xi Jinping said that the strengthening of Indo-China relations will pave the way for the development, peace, and stability of the region as well as the world. China said that Xi Jinping made it clear to Prime Minister Modi that the two countries should keep in mind their bilateral relations and resolve the border issue in a proper manner in order to maintain pace in the border region.

On the occasion of the BRICS conference in South Africa, Prime Minister Modi and China President Xi Jinping walked side by side and exchanged a brief on Thursday. Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan said that he had expressed his concern with Xi on this occasion about the unresolved issues in several areas along the Line of Actual Control in the India-China border.

It is noteworthy that this is the second meeting between Modi and Xi in two weeks. Earlier, bilateral discussions were held between the two heads of state in the context of the G20 conference held in Delhi. (Hydnow)
