Several leaders gathered to pay tribute to Jyotiba Phule on his 200th birth anniversary. The event took place at the Prema Sthal in Parliament. President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the ceremony.
Prime Minister Modi greeted leaders including Om Birla and JP Nadda. He also greeted Rahul Gandhi along with others present at the venue. Later, he returned and spoke briefly with Rahul Gandhi.
