Prakash Javadekar Appointed As Telangana Election In-Charge
Delhi/Hyderabad, July 7 (Hydnow): BJP National President JP Nadda has appointed senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar as the Election in-charge for Telangana.
Along with Telangana, Nadda has also appointed 3 more Election Incharges to the state going to the poll this year Prahlad Joshi as BJP Election in-charge for Rajasthan, Om Prakash Mathur for Chhattisgarh and Bhupendra Yadav for Madhya Pradesh.
The BJP leadership has put a special focus on the states which are going to the polls including Telangana in particular, the focus is on the five states where elections will be held in December this year.
It is making a strategy to bring BJP to power in these five states in the upcoming elections. As part of this, senior leaders have been appointed as election in-charges for four states (Hydnow)
The Union Home Minister has alerted the states of the country in the wake of the Indo-Pak War. The Telangana government and police, which were immediately alerted, took preemptive measures. Security has been tightened in Hyderabad.
Thirty-two airports across northern and western parts of the country, including Srinagar and Amritsar, have been closed for civilian flight operations till May 15, according to the civil aviation regulator.
