Vijayawada, September 28: TDP Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar lashed out at the YSRCP government for not pursuing with the Centre for allotment of funds to complete the construction of buildings and other necessary infrastructure needed for central educational institutions which were set up in accordance with the AP Reorganisation Act.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, he flayed the AP government for failing to get power dues from Telangana.
“Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy could not exert pressure on the BJP-led NDA government to release pending dues to the state despite having more than 30 MPs in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha,” he slammed.
The TDP MP criticized the AP government for not registering protest when the Modi government has been going ahead with the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
He also lambasted the ruling state government for not fighting with the Centre to achieve Special Category Status (SCS) to AP.
