Later, State Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, who introduced the resolution in the House, gave a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT).  They said that they would work sincerely to stop the water exploitation that happened with the previous government’s decisions.

“On election day, the Andhra Pradesh government sent police to Nagarjunasagar.  3 tmc of water per day was diverted illegally.  Under no circumstances will projects be handed over to KRMB without agreeing to the conditions.  “Some people are talking to mislead the people of the state,” the Minister alleged. (Hydnow)
