Hyderabad, April 12: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed shock over Asha Bhosle death and conveyed condolences to her family and fans.

He shared a message on X on Sunday. He said Asha Bhosle death is a huge loss to the cultural sector. He also noted her lasting contribution to the Indian music industry. Moreover, he prayed for her soul to rest in peace.

State Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also expressed grief over Asha Bhosle death. He said her passing is a major loss to the film industry. He added that her voice shaped generations of music lovers.


Asha Bhosle death draws tributes from leaders

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Asha Bhosle sang for over seven decades. He noted she recorded thousands of songs across many languages. Furthermore, he praised her range from classical music to pop songs.

He also recalled that the Union government honoured her with top awards. These include the Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan. Therefore, leaders said her legacy will continue to inspire future artists.
