Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): A fire broke out at a house in Red Hills on Wednesday night following a short circuit in the AC unit. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to the officials, the fire started in the air conditioner unit in the house around midnight and the fire officials were informed.
The family was evacuated and the occupants in neighbouring houses were also asked to vacate. A fire tender reached the spot and doused the flames.
In the second incident, a major fire broke out at a chemical storage unit at Jeedimetla on Thursday early hours.
According to officials, the fire started at the storage unit located at Jeedimetla Industrial Area early in The morning.
On noticing it, the local people informed the fire officials who rushed to the spot and started fire fighting operations. The local police also reached the spot. Thick smoke billowing out from the place created a scare in the people in the vicinity. Additional fire tenders are directed to the spot (Maxim News)
