Covid-19 JN.1: Active Tally Surpasses 4,100; 69 People Infected With New Strain

New Delhi, August 08: Amid increasing Coronavirus positive cases in the nation, the Centre alerted several states governments.

According to the reports, the Covid cases are increasing rapidly in Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Odisha and Tamil Nadu and the positivity rate crossed 10 percent in the states.

The Centre asked the state governments to implement five-stage measures to contain the spread of the Covid virus.

It is said that the Covid cases will be increased during the festive season and the public meetings. The Centre asked the state governments to administer the Covid vaccines to the eligible beneficiaries.
